MCLEAN RESERVE UPGRADE OFFICIALLY OPENED IN BALLAN
Michaela Settle MP today joined Moorabool Shire Council to officially open the upgraded McLean Reserve in Ballan, delivering a revitalised space for recreation, heritage and community connection.
The upgrade includes:
- A new shelter and stage for community events and performances
- Modern playground equipment and seating areas
- Restoration of the historic horse trough and return of the MAPP Up in Lights noticeboard
- Landscaped gardens, improved pathways, upgraded lighting and drainage
- A lighting-commissioned pavilion, giving local artists the opportunity to showcase designs projected at night
The project will mean McLean Reserve remains a central gathering place for the Ballan community, supporting play, connection and local heritage. Moorabool Shire Council has been a key partner in delivering the project, helping shape a reserve that reflects the needs and character of Ballan.
